Since its creation in 2007, Cat Educator is known for having put forward a policy aimed at respecting the veterinary boundary. We also refer to veterinarians first to rule out any possibility of a medical cause to any behaviour problem. Indeed, to implement efficient solutions to a behaviour problem, the cat’s health must be addressed first. Whether through emails or consultations, our consultants always invite adopters to reach out to their veterinary team first and foremost. Moreover, many solutions to behaviour problems require close collaboration between consultants and veterinarians. This is why we’ve put in place a collaborative network with over 300 veterinary clinics throughout Canada and France, which send us clients, and which we help for free in return.
Advice to maximize your feline customer service
We offer free advice to all veterinary clinic or shelter staff who wish for information to help customers with their cat, or deal with a difficult patient. In some cases, this can prevent surrender or euthanasia. Simply call us or send us an email with the ‘emergency’ mention, no matter if you did business with Cat Educator in the past or not.
It’s also possible to order Cat Educator business cards (see at the end of this page), which we will send to you at our own expense.
Increase and retain your customer base with training courses
Our famous Pro aCATemy (Platinum, Gold, Silver) certification, our declawing-free clinic course and the five Clini’Cat training courses (given by a behavioural veterinarian) have become references to veterinary clinics which aim to stand out as ‘cat-friendly hospital’ establishments and cater better to their feline clientele. By enriching the knowledge of your whole team with regards to feline behaviour, you will both stand out from the competition and build customer loyalty. Contact us for more information.
